Why this site exists.
A settlement email, a data breach letter, or a news story says you may be owed something. Finding out whether it is real, whether you qualify, and what to do next should not take an afternoon.
What this site is.
Best Class Actions does two things. First, it lists open class action settlements you may be able to claim, with the deadline, the payout, who qualifies, and a link to the official, court-approved settlement website where you file. Filing a settlement claim is free, and you file it yourself on that official site. We are not the settlement administrator and we never file claims for anyone.
Second, it covers lawsuits that are still being investigated or litigated, such as injuries from drugs, devices, and products, and offers a free case review. If you answer a few questions about what happened, an independent attorney who handles that kind of case may contact you.
We are an attorney advertising and case connection service. We are not a law firm and not a lawyer referral service. We do not give legal advice, we do not evaluate whether a claim has merit, and we do not endorse, rank, vet, or recommend any lawyer.
Why it exists.
Two problems come up again and again for people who hear they may be part of a class action.
The basic facts are hard to pin down. Deadlines, payout amounts, and eligibility rules get repeated across the web, often without a source, and they change. A claim deadline can move, a payout estimate can shrink once the claims are counted, and a case can be dismissed. People end up unsure whether a settlement is real, let alone whether they qualify.
Fake settlement sites and fee requests are common. Real settlements never charge you to file and never ask for a bank login to pay you. Scammers count on people not knowing that.
This site tries to fix both. Every settlement page is checked against the official settlement website, the court docket, or the agency order, and it links to those sources so you can check our work. The case review is there for people whose situation is bigger than a settlement claim form, such as an injury.
How we make money.
Participating attorneys and law firms pay us a flat advertising fee to be connected with people who request a case review. They never pay us a percentage of their fees or a share of any settlement, judgment, or recovery, and what they pay has no effect on what our pages say. Reading the site is free, filing a settlement claim is free, and so is the case review. You are never obligated to hire anyone.

Who writes it.
Our pages are written and maintained by the Best Class Actions editorial team, and they carry that collective byline. We work from primary sources: official settlement websites and notices, court dockets and filings, agency orders and press releases, and statute text. Every page shows the date it was last updated and lists its sources, and we correct errors when readers point them out.
